The Japanese word geisha means 'person of the arts' and a true geisha is said to be a living work of art. To the Westerner, she is a figure of mystery and intrigue. Her white mask-like makeup hides emotions, her traditional black wig is dressed with flowers and her small body is wrapped tightly in kimonos of exquisite design. In her hand, she holds a fan, which speaks a language of its own. The colour red (for example, on the lips) was her trademark and symbolized fertility. As a tattoo design, the geisha represents the epitome of feminine allure, power and mystique that is unattainably out of reach, more myth than reality, a dream, an aspiration.

DELIVERY TIME & COST

Delivery times (from the time of dispatch) and charges are listed below under each destination. Please allow additional time for customs clearance on arrival to your destination, if any. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you confirming the dispatch of your order.

All orders are sent in plain un-branded packaging.

Unfortunately now and then delivery can take a little longer than expected and therefore we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date for your order. If you are ordering items for a special event, audition or show, please allow sufficient time to avoid disappointment. Stop & Stare cannot be held responsible for late deliveries and no refunds will be paid for same.

If the package cannot fit through your letter box and no one is available to accept the delivery, the package will be returned to your local post office for delivery at a later date or collection by you within a prescribed number of days (depending on your local post office rules). If collection is not arranged or you refuse the package, Stop & Stare will be held responsible for original shipping costs and so your order refund (if applicable) will be minus the shipping costs (those indicated in the table above or actually incurred by us, whichever is higher).

CUSTOMS, DUTY & TAXES
Any customs or import duties are charged once the package reaches its destination country and must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and unfortunately can't predict what they might be, so it might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you place your order.

It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (excluding shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the European Union. The amount of duty (if any) depends on the type of goods and their value, and some items can be imported without paying any duty at all.
